Join Jenna for a special donation-based Yoga Sculpt class on Saturday, September 20 at 12:30 p.m. to honor her nephew, Logan, who passed away a year ago after a courageous battle with a rare form of cancer.
On Sunday, October 5, Jenna will be participating in the Jimmy Fund Walk in his memory and to help other children fight against cancer. All donations will support Dana-Farber's mission to reduce the burden of cancer for patients and their families.

LPY & Yoga On Central join forces to run a teacher training putting together their best resources & teachers!
Under the guidance of our own Lorraine Shedoudi, LPY Teacher Training Director, and Jen Murray, Yoga on Central’s Owner, new, mindful, and confident yoga teachers will emerge, together with wise and thoughtful practitioners.
This training will push you out of your comfort zone. You’ll have the opportunity to explore movement, breath work (pranayama), meditation, and learn how to speak confidently in front of a class. We’ll explore effective cuing as we examine what is happening anatomically when we ask students to move in and out of specific poses. We'll look at injury modifications, and how to teach to an ‘all levels’ group of students as well as specific populations. You’ll emerge with a deeper, more comprehensive understanding of yoga and how the yoga industry impacts the history and practice of yoga.
We will learn from traveling guests such as Alexandria Crow, creator of Yoga Physics. Alex’s unique perspective has revolutionized how we think about certain poses.
The LPY training is unique in that it offers support and mentoring well after your certification is complete. As you go out into the yoga world and begin to navigate the business of teaching public classes, we’ll be there to support you. The program’s lead teachers, Lorraine Shedoudi and Jen Murray have well over 20 years collectively of teaching experience. In their time at LPY, they have personally overseen the graduation of 10 groups of teacher trainees. Their commitment to continued education and ability to share what they have learned makes for smarter, stronger and more well-rounded yoga teachers.
Along side your lead teachers, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced and versatile teachers and mentors, Jen Murray, Jillian McDonough, Jen Geller, Allison Burke, Christelle Perrot who bring their own expertise, years of practical teaching experience, and their own unique perspectives. Together, with this powerful staff you’ll be supported, encouraged, and eager to learn more.

Ally’s story & why we love this cause!
I left my four year old with a babysitter on a sunny August afternoon in 2016 to head to a routine yearly mammogram. It was anything but routine. I remember getting dressed and waiting for the all clear to head home, but being pulled into a back office by the on-call radiologist. I was told I needed to get an oncology team together as soon as possible. I was convinced they had the wrong person--and I remember telling them so! I had no lumps, felt no masses, had no family history of breast cancer. But there was no mistake. Scans, biopsies, and tests were only the beginning. Weeks, months, and even years of surgeries, treatments, and appointments followed. But because of a strong support network in a caring community, I was never alone. I had resources at every turn. Organizations such as the Ellie Fund lead the fight against breast cancer, empower women, and ensure quality care for all. I was lucky. In September of 2021, I celebrated five years cancer-free. I plan to dedicate this month to helping to increase awareness and to promote regular screenings and early detection of breast cancer. Nearly 1 in 8 women in America will receive a diagnosis during one's lifetime. Together, we can make a difference.

In this 16 hour sculpt training for 200-hour certified yoga instructors or certified fitness professionals, you will deepen into dynamics of breath, physical yoga postures, strength training exercises, cueing to muscle focus, intentionally sequencing, theming, and building playlists for your classes.
