-
Vinyasa Flow
Our signature flow — a challenging, functional, power-style practice that builds strength, mobility and endurance while moving with the breath. Offered heated (90–100°F) and unheated.
-
Yoga Sculpt
Yoga meets strength. Our energizing power flow incorporates hand weights and cardio bursts to build strength and endurance while keeping yoga at the heart of the class.
-
Yin Yoga
Slow, quiet and deeply grounding. Longer-held poses target the connective tissues, encourage mobility, flexibility and give both body and mind a chance to settle.
-
Restorative Yoga
Deep rest, on purpose. Settle into fully supported postures using bolsters, blankets, blocks and sometimes weighted eye pillows, giving your body and nervous system permission to completely let go.
-
Prenatal Yoga
A supportive practice designed specifically for pregnancy, with movement that builds strength, maintains mobility and helps ease common pregnancy discomforts. Led by specially trained prenatal yoga teachers.
-
Postnatal Yoga
A supportive practice designed for postpartum recovery, with movement to gently rebuild strength, restore mobility and reconnect with your body after birth. Babies are welcome until they’re crawling, so there’s no need to find childcare before getting back to your practice.
Meet Your Yoga Teachers
Experienced teachers. Different styles. One LPY approach.
Lorraine is an Experienced 500 Hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher since 2013, a Reiki Master, a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, and an experienced meditation teacher.
She is the creator of the LPY Yoga Alliance 200 & 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings (Est. 2014), and the Director of LPY Yoga Teacher Training School.
To me, yoga is more than just a sequence of poses. It is a way of life. I initially started practicing because I heard it was a great way to build strength and become more flexible. I found those things and much more. What I gained was greater peace of mind, a tool to manage anxiety, a sense of well being, a supportive community, increased self confidence, connection with others, joy in vulnerability, and a profound spiritual practice. Yoga unites and connects. It meets us in our struggles and amplifies what is going right in our lives while giving us strength to handle what isn’t. It is a source of calm in a chaotic world. My goal is for my classes to challenge you and lift you up. I will ask you to look within yourself for truth and to your neighbor for support. I will lead you through breath, strong poses, and graceful movements, so you can then sit and hear the quiet wisdom of your own mind.
I completed my 200 hour training with Rolf Gates in 2014 and my 300 hour training with Jacqui Bonwell in 2018. I am certified to teach Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Meditation. I also have some additional certifications - Balanced Athlete Level 1 and am a Reiki Master and am currently studying to become a Certified Personal Trainer - which further inform my yoga instruction.
