Megan Cunningham Quigley
Megan completed the 200-hour yoga teacher training in January 2017 via Yoga Moves in Stoneham, MA (Yoga Alliance approved) with Mary Ellen Goodsir.
I was first drawn to yoga as a way to help cope with my anxiety. After taking my first class, I immediately fell in love with how the practice not only eased my mind, but also challenged my body and lifted my spirit. The more I showed up on my mat, the more I felt like myself. I became lighter, stronger, more compassionate and aware, all because I was taking time out of my day to find stillness and focus within.
After a few years of practicing consistently, I decided teaching would be the next direction in my yoga journey and completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in January 2017. I'm passionate about sharing the light, love, strength and clarity my practice has given me with others.
Founded in the eight limb path of yoga, my classes are inspired by classic vinyasa while incorporating my own fun, personal style. I teach with a student mentality and strive to instruct creative, smart sequencing with a wide range of asanas. I focus on strengthening, alignment, awareness, energy, breathing exercises, pushing boundaries, and opening hearts. I always encourage students to listen and honor their bodies.
