“Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees.”
Elena completed her 200-hour yoga training in 2024 with Lorraine Shedoudi within LPY.
After practicing yoga for more than a decade, I wanted to learn more about its principles behind (and beyond) asanas, pranayama, and mindfulness.
In 2022, when I entered the LPY Yoga studio in Lexington for the first time, I discovered an amazing, supporting community, made of kind and compassionate human beings, whose yoga practice is actually their way of leaving!
Eager to learn how to be a proper Yogi, how to truly practice yoga on and off the mat, in 2023 I enrolled for the 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training. I wanted to learn how to change the way I see and think about myself and my experiences. Yoga became more and more my personal journey of self-discovery and transformation, self compassion and trust. And teaching is my way to give back, and pay forward.
I started teaching yoga classes right after graduation, and ever since I try to teach classes I’d love to take, designing each time a flow that is balanced and purposeful, grounding yet challenging, mindful and -why not?- a little bit fun. I’m always studying, willing to learn and grow every day, either as a student and as a teacher, in yoga and life, with enthusiasm and passion.
